Square Hot Tubs

A square tub sits flush against fences, walls and decking edges, so it wastes less garden. A round tub needs access all the way round. Square models also tend to have straighter backrests, which suits taller users.

The Pacific and Garda both come in four and six person sizes, and the Adriatic seats six. The Pacific measures 155cm / 61in across at four person and 185cm / 73in at six, and the Adriatic holds 904 L / 239 gal.

The aluminium frame Adriatic, up to 70% more efficient than an inflatable with an eco 1.8kW heater. The foam Garda is next at up to 60%. Both use around 8 kWh a day against roughly 16 for an inflatable, so about half the running cost.

Yes. A round cover on a square tub leaves the corners open, and corners are where heat escapes fastest. The Adriatic uses a drop stitch cover designed to stop water pooling.
