This guide covers the Wave Antarctic Ice Bath. It explains what to do if a seam looks like it's coming unglued, and how to find and repair a small leak.
A seam or glued edge is coming apart
If a seam, edge or glued section looks like it's lifting, peeling or separating, even if it isn't leaking yet, please don't try to patch it yourself. This may be a defect covered by your guarantee.
The Antarctic is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of your first invoice.
Please use the chat widget at the bottom of the page and send us, in one message:
Your order number or proof of purchase
Clear photos (and a short video if you can) of the affected seam, close up and from a distance
Whether the bath is losing air or water
Our team will assess it and advise on a repair or replacement. Until then, don't inflate above the recommended pressure (wall 5 PSI, floor 8 PSI).
Finding a small leak
Place the bath on a flat surface and inflate it to the recommended pressure (wall 5 PSI, floor 8 PSI).
Cover the bath with soapy water and sponge the whole surface.
Bubbles will form where the leak is.
Rinse and dry the bath, then mark a 3 cm zone around the leak with a pen.
Repairing a small puncture
For small holes and punctures (not seam problems), use the repair kit supplied with your bath:
Deflate the bath.
Carefully clean the area around the leak.
Cut a round piece of repair material, larger than the damaged area.
Apply adhesive under the patch and around the area to be repaired.
Position the patch over the damage and press firmly.
Leave to dry for 12 to 24 hours.
Once dry, apply glue around the edge of the patch to make sure it's fully sealed.
Allow to dry for a further 4 hours.
What the guarantee doesn't cover
Damage from installation, use or repair that doesn't follow the safety instructions
Damage caused by an unsuitable chemical environment
Damage from conditions unsuitable for the product's intended use
Damage caused by negligence, accident or force majeure
Damage from using unauthorised accessories
Looking after your Antarctic
Keep it away from sharp objects, and don't leave the empty bath unprotected outdoors.
Don't store it in its original packaging in direct sunlight.
Make sure it's completely dry before storing.
Always keep the cover on when the bath isn't in use.
