Marketplace Executive

As a Marketplace Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our presence on various online marketplaces. You will be responsible for optimising product listings, implementing effective marketing strategies, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.

We are looking for a motivated and confident individual to join our friendly team in central Newcastle. Whilst the role will come with specific daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, the ideal candidate should keep in mind that we are a fast-growing team that prides ourselves in supporting colleagues in any way that we can. Key Accountabilities

Marketplace Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on various online marketplaces.
  • Monitor and manage product listings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement strategies to optimise search rankings and visibility.

 Sales and Growth:

  • Develop and execute plans to drive sales and revenue growth on each marketplace.
  • Analyse performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and implement promotional campaigns.

 Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience on all marketplace platforms.
  • Address customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to align strategies and goals.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners and vendors to optimise processes and relationships.

 Data Analysis:

  • Utilise data analytics tools to track and analyse key performance indicators.
  • Generate insights to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (Preferable)
  • Proven experience in e-commerce and marketplace management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with various online marketplaces and their unique requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with popular e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart).
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with online advertising and digital marketing strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
