Supply Planner

Fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing companies, Wave Direct.

Reporting to the Merchandising Director, you will be responsible for the supply planning and the customs/imports element of the business.

Your primary role is to ensure products are imported into regions in compliance with all applicable import laws and regulations, in the most efficient way.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders – ranging from hauliers, suppliers, commercial and production teams
• Maintaining correct stock levels to meet operational requirements

• Management of systems to meet routine and adhoc reporting requirements
• Coordinating transport for bulk and direct deliveries
• Balancing available stock against customer allocations and forecasts

• Ensuring customer orders are met on time

• Informing the business of any risk to the monthly forecast achievement rate
• Verification and processing of logistics invoices

• Assist in the delivery of continuous departmental improvement strategies

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience in a supply chain / planning role

• Planning experience in a fast-moving environment
• Use of NetSuite desirable
• Strong use of Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• To be able to work well as part of a team and independently
• Experience with reporting and warehouse management systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Commercial acumen
• Automation techniques to maximise team utilisation desirable
• Strong communication and influencing skills
